Accessibility Statement

The accessibility of axessia.eu

We sell accessibility. So this page should be here, and it should honestly state what still isn't right.

What we have been tested against

This website is tested against EN 301 549 V3.2.1, the harmonised European standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act — in practice WCAG 2.1 level AA. We build to WCAG 2.2 level AA, one level higher, because EN 301 549 V4 makes that version the legal standard and is expected in the course of 2026.

Tested using our own scan engine (axe-core, with the checkout, search and login routes included) and manual checks where a scan cannot reach. Last full test: 20 August 2026.

What does not yet comply

At present, there are no known issues that do not meet WCAG 2.1 AA. This is a snapshot and no guarantee: we scan this site every month and update this page as soon as anything changes.

What we cannot rule out: some requirements cannot be tested automatically. Whether our alt texts truly describe the images and whether our screens work well with a real screen reader, we only know if someone tells us. Hence the complaint route below — it is not a formality here.

Filing a complaint or reporting an issue

If you cannot access something on this site, please email office@axessia.eu. Let us know which page and what went wrong; telling us which assistive technology you use helps us, but is not necessary.

We respond within five working days, and if the fix takes longer we will let you know when to expect it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Autoriteit Consument & Markt.

Why this page exists

Under the European Accessibility Act, the absence of an accessibility statement is in itself grounds for a warning — regardless of how accessible a site otherwise is. We tell our clients this, so it applies to us first.
