Your website tested for accessibility

Six out of ten major Dutch webshops prevent a customer with a visual impairment from completing an order. The ACM measured this in March 2026. Since 28 June 2025, that is not only bad for revenue, but also against the law — throughout the EU, with the same technical standard.

Free, no account, no email address. Each point includes where it is in the standard.

What our scan cannot do

This is stated here and not in the fine print, because it is the difference between us and anyone who sells you a widget.

Our scan finds most errors that can be found automatically: insufficient contrast, missing alternative text, form fields without labels, buttons without a name, a checkout step that gets stuck with the keyboard. That is much, and it is not everything.

What no scan can assess: whether alternative text actually describes the image, whether the order in which a screen reader reads your page makes sense, whether an error message helps someone move forward. Those points appear as a separate section in every report we issue — also in a report with no findings. We therefore never sell "compliant with the law" based on a scan alone.

If you do want that certainty, a manual audit by a specialized firm is the way. We do not do that ourselves; we refer you warmly.

Why you can check us

Under each topic is where it comes from: the article from Directive (EU) 2019/882, or the success criterion from WCAG 2.1 that EN 301 549 refers to. For each country is the date we last checked the regulator and the penalties — and for countries we have not yet checked is stated that, instead of anything plausible.

The texts are written with AI based on those sources, run through a technical review that places every claim next to its source, and are approved by a human before they appear. See how we work.

And we are our own first customer: this site runs through our own full scan, and we build to WCAG 2.2 AA — a level above what the law requires. Our own statement is here.

What this is not: we do not conduct manual audits, user testing with target groups, or remediation work ourselves — that is the work of specialized firms and we refer you to them. We do not sell overlays, not even as a quick fix. We do not provide legal advice. And we never report on your behalf to a supervisory authority; we help you do it yourself.
